I'm Nichole L Haywood, founder of MakeupyourPower, Spiritualist, Intuitive Development Guide, Psychic Medium, Blogger, and Creator & Host of Awakening Truths | MakeupyourPower Podcast.

My work is rooted in a simple belief:

Your power isn't something someone gives you. It's something you learn to recognize, honor, and embody within yourself.

And sometimes, the journey back to ourselves begins when everything we thought we knew starts to change.

The Evolution of MakeupyourPower

MakeupyourPower began with a vision of bringing beauty and spirituality together.

Through makeup, tarot, and intuitive conversation, I created a welcoming space where people could feel comfortable exploring something deeper.

But as the work evolved, something became clear.

People weren't simply coming to feel beautiful.

They were coming to feel seen, heard, understood, and supported during some of life's most defining moments.

They were navigating relationships, grief, uncertainty, identity, spiritual awakenings, and crossroads that challenged what they believed about themselves and the world around them.

And through those conversations, I began recognizing that the greatest gift I could offer wasn't simply insight.

It was the opportunity for someone to see themselves differently and recognize the choices available to them.

That understanding transformed my work.

From Awareness to Embodiment

Today, MakeupyourPower is about so much more than spiritual insight.

It's about what we choose to do with that awareness.

Through psychic mediumship, intuitive development, spiritual guidance, and astrology birth chart overviews used as tools for self-reflection, I create space for individuals to explore their patterns, strengths, challenges, and possibilities.

I don't believe a birth chart defines who you are or determines what your life must become.

I see it as another lens through which we can better understand ourselves.

Because awareness without integration is simply information.

The deeper work begins when we take what we've learned and consciously decide how we want to live.

That means recognizing our patterns without shame, taking accountability for our choices, developing discernment, honoring our boundaries, and learning to trust our inner knowing.

It means understanding that spirituality isn't about escaping the human experience.

It's about becoming more present within it.

As my personal journey and work continued evolving, so did my desire to create a space for deeper, more honest conversations.

That vision became Awakening Truths | MakeupyourPower Podcast, which I now co-host with Tina Akowitz (Https://purposefultransitions.net)

Through our conversations and Guest Spotlight Series, we welcome people from different walks of life to share the experiences that shaped them.

The grief. The pain. The uncomfortable truths. The awakenings. The mistakes. The rebuilding. And the wisdom discovered along the way.

Because every story carries something worth understanding.

We don't have to share the same beliefs, backgrounds, or experiences to learn from one another.

And we don't have to agree on everything to create space for meaningful conversation.

My intention is not to tell people what to believe, but to invite them to reflect, question, listen, and discover what speaks to them.

Sometimes another person's story becomes the reflection we didn't know we needed.

The Woman Behind the Work

My own journey has taught me that growth isn't always beautiful or comfortable.

Grief, loss, changing relationships, and life's unexpected transitions have challenged me to look inward, examine my own patterns, and redefine what peace, purpose, and authenticity mean to me.

I've learned that compassion and boundaries can coexist.

That accountability and self-love belong together.

That we can honor the people and experiences that shaped us without continuing to carry everything they brought into our lives.

And perhaps most importantly, I've learned that our worth is not determined by the approval, expectations, or opinions of others.

It's reflected in how we choose to honor ourselves and the lives we're creating.

I continue learning, evolving, and integrating these lessons into my own life, just as I encourage others to do.

I'm not here to present myself as someone who has everything figured out.

I'm here to hold space for meaningful exploration, honest reflection, and the possibility of choosing differently.
