Day 30: The Landing — When Healing Becomes Power
There are moments in life that don’t feel like endings…
They feel like arrivals.
Day 30 of our live podcast challenge was one of those moments.
What started as a simple commitment—to go live for 30 days straight—became something far deeper than I could have ever expected. It became a mirror. A healing space. A sacred container for truth.
And most importantly…
It became a doorway back to myself.
The Power of Showing Up
For 30 days, I showed up.
Not perfectly. Not polished.
But honestly.
There were days filled with clarity… and days filled with emotion.
Days where I felt strong… and days where I had to make myself show up anyway.
And that’s where the real transformation happened.
Because healing doesn’t come from perfection.
It comes from devotion to yourself.
As was so beautifully said in the episode:
“This challenge wasn’t about perfection, it was about devotion.”
And through that devotion… something shifted.
Grief as a Gateway
This journey was deeply intertwined with my father’s passing.
Grief has a way of stripping everything back.
It removes the distractions. The noise. The masks.
And what’s left… is truth.
Throughout these 30 days, I didn’t just remember my father—
I experienced him differently.
In my emotions.
In my reflections.
In the way I saw parts of him within me.
Not as who he was in the physical…
But as a presence I now carry.
That’s the part no one really talks about—
Grief doesn’t just take…
It also reveals.
From Survival to Self-Leadership
A huge realization for me during this journey was this:
I used to live my life reacting.
Adapting.
Surviving.
Even in my healing… I was trying to fix things externally.
But through therapy, sobriety, and deep inner work, I came to understand something that changed everything:
The only healing I can truly do… is within myself.
And from that place—
I don’t save others.
I become a space where healing is possible.
Breaking Cycles & Reclaiming Power
My journey hasn’t been easy.
Addiction. Loss. Identity shifts. Emotional patterns.
But what I’ve learned is this:
You don’t break cycles by avoiding them.
You break them by facing them.
Feeling them.
Understanding them.
And choosing differently.
Over and over again.
And now I can stand here and say:
I am no longer a victim of my life.
I am the creator of it.
Family, Reflection & Legacy
One of the most powerful parts of this final episode was having family join in.
There were shared memories. Laughter. Tears. Truth.
And in that moment… it became so clear:
We are all carrying pieces of him.
His energy. His personality. His lessons.
Not perfectly. Not without complexity.
But fully.
And that’s what legacy really is.
Not perfection…
But presence.
This Isn’t the End
This wasn’t the end of something.
It was a landing.
A pause.
A moment to gather everything I’ve learned.
Because now…
I get to live it.
And so do you.
Final Reflection
If you take anything from this journey, let it be this:
✨ You don’t have to have it all figured out
✨ You just have to be willing to show up
✨ And choose yourself… again and again
Because the version of you on the other side of that choice?
That’s your power.
